For Embrace Therapeutic Fostering Services and Absolute Children's Services to fulfil this commitment, we expect all staff, foster carers and volunteers to share this commitment. As a matter of paramountcy, robust vetting background checks, employment references and qualification validation are carried out in all cases without exception. All posts require an enhanced DBS and are exempt from the rehabilitation Act 1974, meaning all candidates will be required to disclose any unspent and spent conviction during the application process.
