Skills To Foster

Six Training Sessions

The Skills To Foster Training comprises of six sessions:

​

  • What do foster carers do

  • Identity and life chances

  • Working with others

  • Understanding and caring for children

  • Safer caring,

  • Transitions.

​

The requirement is for both applicants to attend a three-day Skills to Foster training course and also undertake safeguarding training, behaviour management, first aid and attachment training. 

​

We can agree a group training/venue or 1-2-1 training.
